Mark Zukerman

FOUNDING PRINCIPAL

With over 30 years of experience earned in the real estate brokerage, development and consulting, Mark brings a considerable amount of experience and marketing acumen to Encore Sotheby’s International Realty.

Mark’s well-deserved reputation in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area of building up-scale, community-friendly residential developments has earned him recognition from national home builders, financing institutions, investment partners, and civic leaders. Mark’s developments can be found in Carmel, Fishers, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Westfield, and Zionsville.

Mark cultivated his real estate experience by serving as President of Mark Zukerman & Associates, Inc. a real estate development and consulting company from 1991-2009. During that time, Mark provided consulting services to many regional real estate developers including Brenwick Development Company (The Village of WestClay) and Stonegate Development (Stonegate).

He served as Executive Vice President and Partner for regionally recognized real estate brokerage and development group J.B. Cohen Realty Corp. from 1986-1991. His responsibilities at JB Cohen forged his experience in designing sales and marketing programs for a real estate portfolio dedicated to luxury single family developments. A notable part of his industry experience resulted from his affiliation with Aaron Y. Cohen who is recognized for numerous upscale residential properties in Indianapolis, Palm Beach, Florida and the Dominican Republic.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington and holds an Indiana Real Estate Broker license. He and his wife Diana reside in Carmel, Indiana and are active in the Carmel and Indianapolis community. In his spare time, Mark is often found at various Carmel community events or visiting his son Ryan and daughter Gabby in Bloomington, Indiana where they attends Indiana University. He is an avid golfer and is a member of the Crooked Stick Golf Club and has traveled around the globe to play at some of the most renowned courses in the world. Mark is a past Executive Board member of the Indiana Jewish Historical Society and a two time President of the nationally recognized Carmel Swim Club.

Kate Rossman

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

As Director of Marketing for Encore Sotheby's International Realty, Kate manages all aspects of the marketing and advertising for Encore agents and the Encore brand while also managing public relations and media for Encore Sotheby's International Realty.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Kate holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. She began her career in the environmental industry as a Marketing Coordinator for Anguil Environmental Systems, an international Air Pollution Control Company. Kate subsequently moved to Indianapolis and became Director of Marketing for G. Thrapp Jewelers.

Outside of business, Kate's focus is directed to spending time with her husband, Lanny, and their daughter, Elsie. She is active in the Meridian Kessler community and is a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoys volunteering and has served as a QUASH committee member for the Alzheimer's Association and as a volunteer for the non-profit Hearts & Hands of Indiana, Inc. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, learning and travel.

Jennifer Haughey

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jennifer grew up on a farm in Ohio and attended Taylor University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She is currently working on a second Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has lived in northern Indianapolis for the past 20 years and has a great love and appreciation for the family friendly community of Fishers in which she currently resides. Prior to working at Encore Jennifer enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry as an adjuster. During this time she became adept at wading through lengthy, complex insurance contracts and policies. She developed exceptional analytical, communication, negotiating and customer service skills as well as a flair for working with numbers – all skills which she brings to the table in her current role as Director of Operations. Jennifer was also part owner of one of the largest flooring stores in Indiana for 12 years, providing her with invaluable exposure to a vast array of home styles, interior finishes, and diverse clientele. During this time Jennifer began to develop a passion for interior design and all things real estate. Jennifer brings this love and enthusiasm for real estate as well as a strong, focused work ethic and exceptional attention to detail to her current role.

Jennifer is an avid runner and has participated in several 500 Festival Mini Marathons in addition to completing her first full marathon a few years ago. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, playing classical and jazz piano, and relaxing with friends and family. Last but certainly not least, Jennifer has three absolutely amazing boys who are her pride and joy and can frequently be found cheering them on at their numerous basketball, baseball, and cross country events. Jennifer and her family are actively involved at Heartland Church.

Brooke Shepherd

LISTING COORDINATOR

A lifelong Hoosier and graduate of Ball State University, Brooke joined Encore Sotheby’s International Realty in the summer of 2017. Though relatively new to the Encore family, Brooke is no stranger to the real estate arena. In 2005, Brooke joined the F.C. Tucker Company as the listing administrator until 2011. From there, she transitioned into the executive office of Christel DeHaan with Christel House International, where she was able to exercise a high caliber of customer service to both internal and external clients. After returning to real estate as a title searcher, Brooke eventually linked up with M/I Homes, again, as a sales administrator. Her experience with traditional as well as new construction real estate, has allowed her to bring a well-rounded contribution to Encore Sotheby’s as the listing coordinator. She and her husband, along with their German Shepherd mixed puppy, reside in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Billy Krawzak

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Originally from Palatine, IL, a small northwestern suburb of Chicago, Billy now lives on the north side of Indianapolis in the Broad Ripple area. Billy first came to Indiana in 2011 to attend Butler University where he recently graduated from with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. After experiencing the wonderful city of Indianapolis during his four years at Butler, he fell in love with the area so much that he decided to make it his permanent residence. Just out of school, Billy went to work for an advertising agency where he did media buying and planning. He improved his communication skills tremendously through his negotiating experiences with television and radio sales representatives when planning his clients’ annual media buys.

Outside of the office, Billy enjoys a wide variety of things from sports, to music, to exploring the outdoors. He likes to stay fit by running and playing soccer. He actually just completed his first half marathon last year in the 500 Festival Mini Marathon. Billy is also currently coaching a U-12 boys club soccer team in the Indy area. When given the chance to travel, Billy tries to get out to Colorado to enjoy to outdoors and climbs mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Susan Talbot

OFFICE COORDINATOR

Susan joined Encore Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011. In her role as Office Coordinator, she is the first person you will meet when you visit our office. She manages the front desk and provides administrative support to the Marketing department and Encore agents, in addition to scheduling, supervising and training the weekend receptionists.

She grew up on Long Island, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business-Economics and Psychology from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Susan began her professional career working as an Administrative Assistant and Personal Computer Specialist at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation in New York City. While home raising her children, she earned her Master’s Degree in Reading/Language Arts Education at Rider College in Lawrenceville, NJ. Her family relocated to Zionsville, Indiana in 2003, and she currently resides in Carmel. In more recent years, Susan enjoyed working as a Reading Instructional Assistant, tutoring elementary school children in the Zionsville School District.

Susan loves spending time with her two adult children Brian and Kristine, and recently helped plan her daughter’s wedding. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, music, the beach, and going for long walks with friends. Susan is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel.
