April Willy has been passionate about making art since she was a small child and truly relishes every moment she is able to be creative. After graduating from Herron School of Art, April became an advertising and editorial illustrator. She spent almost 20 years working for local and national agencies before her increasing interest in painting redirected her career. April now considers herself equally divided between illustrating and painting. She enjoys the challenge of retelling an author’s story visually, but relishes total creative control in her fine art. April has completed eight children’s books and is eager to illustrate another. Her fourth book, ‘Three Cups’ has sold almost 30,000 copies.
