The housing market throughout Indiana continued at a quick pace in April, generally showing more transactions compared to March with fewer days on market, barring few exceptions. Despite the increase in number of transactions, inventory remained tight.

Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville all saw average sales prices climb slightly compared to March, anywhere up to a 4.3% increase month over month, while the average sales price in Westfield decreased by 5.5% and Zionsville decreased by 4.6%. The NE Lakes and Angola Lakes both saw substantial increases in average sales price and number of transactions as the summer season approaches. In NW Indiana, Valparaiso and the lakefront communities saw decreases in average sales prices just below $325,000 each, respectively.
